The Southern Gulf Islands Forum (SGIF), formed in 2021, is a forum for federal, provincial, local governments, Regional Districts and First Nations leadership to gather to coordinate, discuss and advocate on behalf of the economic, environmental, cultural and social well-being of the communities in Southern Gulf Islands for the benefit of present and future generations.
The SGIF meets on a monthly basis, the second Monday of each month from 8:30 – 9:30am, with two half-day hybrid meetings held via Zoom and in the MLA office taking place every year.
