The Southern Gulf Islands Forum (SGIF), formed in 2021, is a forum for federal, provincial, local governments, Regional Districts and First Nations leadership to gather to coordinate, discuss and advocate on behalf of the economic, environmental, cultural and social well-being of the communities in Southern Gulf Islands for the benefit of present and future generations.

The SGIF meets on a monthly basis, usually the second Monday of each month from 08:30 – 09:30am, with two half-day hybrid meetings, usually in September and March from 10:30am – 2:30pm, held via Zoom and in-person.
